Before you apply, check out these basic guidelines that could help you be
more successful in your application process. DeMolay Foundation of Michigan Scholarships Sponsor: The DeMolay Foundation of Michigan Award: Variable amounts starting at $500.00 Eligibility: To be eligible to receive a scholarship from the Educational Endowment Fund of the DeMolay Foundation of Michigan, an applicant must be an active or senior DeMolay. Applicant must be a High School graduate (age 25 or younger), or a High School Senior who is pursuing a college education, who has made application to an accredited institution of higher learning. This grant is not available for graduate studies. This is a highly competitive grant, and cannot be given to all who apply. Applicants will
be considered for a number of scholarships that the Foundation manages,
including the Mom Marie Cole Memorial Scholarship, the Grand Chapter
Royal Arch of Michigan scholarship, the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern
Star scholarships, and others. Repayment: Not required Deadline: Must be postmarked by June 1 Application: Download the Application Here More Information: DeMolay Foundation Scholarship Sponsor: The DeMolay Foundation, Inc. Award: Variable Eligibility: Awarded to member of the Order of DeMolay in good standing who are enrolled in an accredited institution. There is no limit as to how often the scholarship can be received. Repayment: Not required, however, each recipient is asked to replace
the amount received in order to perpetuate the fund. Deadline: Applications must be received by April 1. Awarded based based
on availability of funds. More Information: Paul R. Kach, 33° DeMolay Essay Scholarship Sponsor: The estate of Paul R. Kach, 33° Award: Sixteen Regional Prizes of $300.00 and two national grand prizes
of $1,200.00 each; one award for each category. Eligibility: Awarded to the active DeMolay who writes the best essay
on the annual assigned topic. There are two categories- DeMolays in
11th grade and above; DeMolays in 10th grade and below. Repayment: Not required Deadline: Essay must be received by February 1. More Information: York Rite General Grand Chapter Royal Arch Scholarship Sponsor: York Rite General Grand Chapter, Royal Arch Masons Award: $1,000 Eligibility: Awarded active or Senior DeMolays in support of post-baccalaureate
education. Repayment: Not required Deadline: April 1 More Information: Knights Templar Educational Foundation Sponsor: The Grand Encampment, Knights Templar, USA Award: Amount Determined by the Committee yearly Eligibility: To be eligible to receive an award from the Knights Templar Education Foundation, Michigan Division, applicant must be pursuing
a 2 or 4-year college degree, graduate or trades school education. The
KTEF Committee, Michigan Division, shall consider all applicants without
regard to age, race, religion, National origin, sex or Masonic ties

Abbott Scholarship Sponsor: The Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Northern Masonic Award: Grants vary. Generally $1,000 or more. Eligibility: Awarded annually to the children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren
of Scottish Rite Masons, and/or Michigan DeMolays, Rainbow Girls, and
Job's Daughters. Applicant must be a graduate of a public or private
secondary/preparatory school. There is no limit as to how often the
scholarship can be received. The scholarship is also available to majority
members of DeMolay, Rainbow Girls, and Job's Daughters. Repayment: Not required Deadline: Applications must be received by March 15. More Information: Contact the Secretary of your closest Scottish Rite

Michigan
Scottish Rite Scholarship Sponsor: Michigan Council of Deliberation, The Ancient Accepted Scottish

Rite Valley Valley
of Detroit, Charitable Foundation Scholarship Sponsor: Valley of Detroit, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite for the
Northern Masonic Jurisdiction Award: Grants vary. Generally $1,000 or more. Eligibility: Awarded annually to the children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren
of Scottish Rite Masons, and/or Michigan DeMolays, Rainbow Girls, and
Job's Daughters. Applicant must be a graduate of a public or private
secondary/preparatory school. There is no limit as to how often the
scholarship can be received. The scholarship is also available to majority
members of DeMolay, Rainbow Girls, and Job's Daughters. Repayment: Not required Deadline: Applications must be received by March 15. More Information: The Wolcott
Foundation, Inc. Sponsor: High Twelve International Award: Maximum grant covers tuition and fees for 36 hours of Master's
Degree study. An additional relocation assistance loan is available
for a maximum of $1,800.00. Eligibility: Awarded to graduate students at The George Washington University
enrolled in either the School of Business and Public Management or the
Elliott School of International Affairs. Applicants must have obtained
a B.A. or B.S. from an accredited college or university and have a "B"
average. Repayment: Tuition and fees are considered a grant if, upon graduation,
recipient works four years in government, or international service or
is employed in international business approved by the Trustees of theFoundation; otherwise repayment is required. Deadline: Applications are available from October 1st to February 1st
of each year and must be submitted by February 15 for the following

Of Lebanon Scholarships Sponsor: The Supreme Forest, Tall Cedars of Lebanon of North America Award: Three awards at $1,000.00 each Eligibility: A member of Rainbow, DeMolay or Job's Daughters in a state
where a Tall Cedars Forest exists; or the son, daughter, grandson or
granddaughter of a Tall Cedar in good standing may apply. Must be accepted
as a full-time student in any associate, baccalaureate degree, technical
or vocational program. Additional criteria, includes required letters
of recommendation. Repayment: Not required Deadline: March 1. All scholarship money will be paid directly to educational
institution. More Information: National
League Of Masonic Clubs, Inc. Sponsor: National League Of Masonic Clubs, Inc. Award: Four grants awarded annually in the amount of $1,000.00 each. Eligibility: Awarded to members of a Masonic club, which is affiliated
with the National League of Masonic Clubs. The grant is also available
to the children or grandchildren of members of such clubs. Must be an
entering a college, university, vocational, or technical institution. Repayment: Repayment is voluntary, but highly desired to replenish and
make funds available to others. Deadline: Application deadline is April 15. More Information: Grotto/DeMolay
Dental Scholarship Sponsor: The International Grotto, M.O.V.P.E.R. Award: Four scholarships of $1,500.00 each. Eligibility: Awarded to members of the Order of DeMolay enrolled in
a dental, medical, or pre-medical program at an accredited institution.
There is no limit as to how often the scholarship can be received. Repayment: Not required, however, each recipient is asked to replace
